UPDATE: As a precaution, 17 students have been transported to nearby hospitals for further evaluation. District administration is continuing to contact families of those involved. Students that have been evaluated and cleared were taken to CMS and are currently being monitored by CMS nursing staff.

This morning, two of our buses were involved in an accident near 105 and 321. Students were on board the buses at the time of the accident and are currently being evaluated by EMS. There are no major injuries. District administration is contacting the families of the students involved. As with any accident, all students and staff involved are being evaluated by EMS to ensure safety. Student and staff safety is our #1 priority.

Communities in Schools of East Texas and C9 are looking for Angels! Communities In Schools of East Texas is putting together a donation drive for C9 students to receive gifts this holiday!
